The Osprey is one of the most impressive birds of the lagoon. In autumn more than 35 -individuals- visit the wetland --while on their migration to Africa; sometimes even up to 4 have been observed together. One Osprey stays every year over the winter until March. They can be observed especially in the early hours, -fishing in the lagoon and feeding on their roosts in the marsh.
